Horsebox & Racetruck Electrical Systems
Fiadh designs and installs electrical and off-grid power systems for horseboxes and racetrucks — living and day areas that need real, reliable power, usually a long way from a hook-up. The same off-grid engineering that goes into our adventure vans applies directly to these vehicles.
Electrical systems for horseboxes and racetrucks
These vehicles spend their working lives at events, paddocks and yards where mains power is limited or absent, yet the living and day areas need to run properly all day — lighting, appliances, charging, often heating and water. That is an off-grid power problem, and it is one we solve every day on campers.
Why these vehicles need proper off-grid power
A system thrown together to just about cope is the one that lets you down at the worst moment, on a competition or event day. Sizing it correctly — battery, charging and loads reconciled against a real day's use — is what makes the difference between power you can rely on and power you have to ration.
What we install
Lithium battery banks, engine and solar charging, inverters for 230V equipment, and monitoring — specified for the demands of the vehicle and how it is used. Predominantly Victron components, paired with the lithium suited to the build, as on our campers.
Living areas and day areas
Whether it is a full living area with everything a camper has or a day area that simply needs dependable power and light, we design to the actual use rather than a generic template.
New build or existing vehicle
We work on new fit-outs and on existing horseboxes and racetrucks whose electrics are not up to the job. If your current setup struggles through an event day, that is exactly what we put right.
