Most awnings, roof racks and bike carriers are straightforward enough for a confident DIYer. If you'd rather not risk getting fitment wrong on your own van — or just don't have the time — workshop fitting is there as an option, not a requirement.

No. Most Thule products are sold for UK-wide delivery and many customers fit them themselves or use their usual garage. Workshop fitting at our Callander base is available by request for anyone who wants it done for them.

How do I book fitting?

Request a fitting slot here — tell us your van details and what you're having fitted, and we'll confirm price and a workshop date.

Can I get Thule and Victron work done in the same visit?

Yes — if you're already booking in for a lithium battery upgrade, solar install, or habitation service, mention this when you request fitting and we'll combine the visit.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by product — we'll confirm an estimated dispatch and delivery window at checkout or when you order.

Is Thule worth it over a budget awning or bike rack?

For Scottish touring conditions — wind, rain, single-track roads — fitment quality and build matter more than they do in fairer climates. Thule's engineering is built for exactly that, and proper fitment is what protects your investment, whether you do it yourself or have us fit it.
