Fiadh Adventure Vehicles specialises in campervans, motorhomes, conversions and specialist leisure vehicles.

From servicing and upgrades to complete electrical, heating and air-conditioning installations, every job is approached around the individual vehicle and how it will be used.

Every job receives a written quotation before work begins. The prices below are intended as a guide for our more standard services; bespoke installations and larger projects are designed and quoted individually.

Workshop Labour & Diagnostics

  • Workshop labour — £60/hour + VAT
  • Electrical diagnostics — £60/hour + VAT

Diagnostic work is charged separately from any subsequent repair. Once we've identified the problem, we'll explain what we've found and agree any additional work with you before proceeding.

Habitation Inspections

  • Campervan habitation inspection — from £160 + VAT
  • Motorhome habitation inspection — from £210 + VAT
  • Gas safety inspection — from £80 + VAT
  • Damp inspection & report — from £120 + VAT

We can also investigate individual habitation-system faults, including electrical, heating, hot water and appliance issues.

Conversions & Upgrades

Whether you're upgrading an existing campervan or motorhome, completing a new conversion or building a specialist vehicle, we can design and install individual systems or complete integrated solutions. Our work includes:

  • Victron electrical systems
  • Lithium battery systems
  • Solar
  • Inverters and inverter/chargers
  • Alternator and DC-DC charging
  • Off-grid and gas-free electrical systems
  • Diesel heating
  • Air conditioning
  • Hot water systems
  • Electrical distribution and monitoring
  • System upgrades and fault finding

Larger conversion projects and complete systems are individually specified and quoted.

Electrical, Lithium & Off-Grid Systems

Fiadh Adventure Vehicles is Scotland's only Victron Energy Approved Installer for leisure vehicles.

We design and install electrical systems for campervans, motorhomes, horseboxes and specialist leisure vehicles. Our work ranges from straightforward lithium and solar upgrades through to complete high-power off-grid electrical systems.

Solar

Solar installations — supply & fitted from £500 + VAT

From adding additional solar capacity to an existing system through to large multi-panel installations with Victron MPPT charging and full system monitoring. Roof layout, available space, panel capacity and the existing electrical installation will determine the final specification and price.

Lithium Battery Upgrades

Individually quoted

A proper lithium conversion isn't necessarily just a battery replacement. Depending on the vehicle, we'll assess the existing mains charger, alternator charging, solar charging, cable sizes, fusing, distribution and monitoring before recommending a solution. This can range from a straightforward lithium upgrade to a complete redesign of the vehicle's electrical system.

Victron Inverter & Inverter/Charger Systems

Individually designed & quoted

We install and configure Victron inverter and inverter/charger systems ranging from smaller installations through to high-power MultiPlus and Quattro systems. Systems can incorporate shore-power management, PowerAssist, solar charging, alternator charging, lithium battery banks and GX monitoring.

Complete Off-Grid Electrical Systems

Bespoke design & quotation

For customers who want genuine electrical independence, we design complete systems around how the vehicle will actually be used. Depending on the requirements, this can include:

  • High-capacity lithium battery storage
  • Victron MultiPlus or Quattro inverter/chargers
  • Solar charging
  • High-power alternator/DC-DC charging
  • Shore-power integration and PowerAssist
  • Cerbo GX system control
  • Victron VRM remote monitoring
  • AC and DC distribution
  • System protection and isolation
  • Generator integration

Systems can be designed around 12V, 24V or 48V architectures depending on the required power and battery capacity.

We also design systems for fully gas-free vehicles, induction cooking, electric water heating, air conditioning and other high-demand 230V equipment.

There is no upper 'package' because every system is different. We'll establish what you want the vehicle to do and design the electrical system around that requirement.

Air Conditioning

Roof-mounted air conditioning — supply & fitted from £1,200 + VAT

We supply and install air-conditioning systems for campervans, motorhomes and horseboxes, including equipment from manufacturers we are trained and approved to work with. Installation requirements vary considerably depending on roof construction, vehicle height, internal furniture, existing roof openings and the electrical supply available.

For vehicles intended to run air conditioning away from hook-up, we can also design the battery, inverter and charging system required to support it. Off-grid air-conditioning installations are individually designed and quoted.

Diesel Heating

Diesel heater installation — supply & fitted from £950 + VAT

We install diesel heating systems in campervans, motorhomes and specialist leisure vehicles. A typical installation includes the heater, fuel supply, combustion air and exhaust system, warm-air ducting, electrical installation and commissioning. More complex installations with multiple outlets, hot-water integration or restricted installation locations are quoted individually.

Existing diesel heater diagnostics — £60/hour + VAT

We can also diagnose faults with existing diesel heating installations.

Thule Accessories

We supply and professionally install a range of Thule accessories for campervans and motorhomes. See our Thule Accessories page for the current range and fitting prices.

Why We Don't Publish Package Prices for Electrical Systems

Two vehicles that appear almost identical can require very different electrical installations. Existing cable sizes, charging equipment, battery location, cable routes, alternator type, solar capacity and the condition of the original installation can all significantly change what is required.

Rather than selling a standard package and trying to make it fit every vehicle, we design the system around how you actually intend to use it. That's particularly important with high-power lithium and Victron systems.

Our Process

We'll discuss what you want the vehicle to do, look at the existing installation where necessary and recommend an appropriate solution. You'll then receive a written quotation before any work begins. No unexpected additions and no work carried out without your agreement.
